A ceramic coating locks in the condition of the paint beneath it, so the surface needs to be clean, decontaminated and in the best shape it can be before it goes on.
That's why many customers start with a Showroom Detail: clay bar decontamination, a single-stage machine polish to remove the majority of swirls and light scratches, and a 6–12 month ceramic spray sealant. We assess your paint when quoting and recommend what makes sense for your vehicle.

How long does a ceramic coating last?
A ceramic coating is designed to protect paint for years rather than the weeks or months you get from wax. Actual lifespan depends on the product, how well the paint is prepared and how the vehicle is looked after, and we'll talk you through what to expect for your car.
What's the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax sits on top of the paint and washes away quickly. A ceramic coating bonds to the paint to form a harder, longer-lasting layer that repels water and dirt, adds gloss and makes washing easier. It isn't scratch-proof or stone-chip proof, but it gives your paint far better everyday protection.
Does my car need preparation before it's ceramic coated?
Yes. The paint needs to be clean and free of bonded contaminants so the coating can bond properly. Our Full Detail includes iron decontamination, our Showroom Detail adds clay bar decontamination and machine polishing, and we'll assess your paint's condition when quoting.
What aftercare does a ceramic coating need?
We'll give you aftercare instructions, including how long to keep the car dry and when you can first wash it. After that, regular gentle washing keeps the coating performing at its best.
